Description
The 1x2 HDMI Audio Converter will extract HDMI audio and output standard Optical Digital Audio ouput and L/R Stereo Output for easy integration with your existing Surround Sound System. This unique HDMI distribution amplifier will directly pass HDMI and convert HDMI audio to Optical 5.1 Digital Audio Optical and L/R Stereo audio. Our proprietary Clear EYETM transmission line and ISI reduction design will IMPROVE the digital video signals. HDMI is backward compatible with DVI-D. This switch will work with either DVI or HDMI. We understand that you may have a mixed system and require different cables to connect to the Octava HDDA12-UK 1 x 2 HDMI Audio Converter.
NOTE: Due to HDCP limitations, if you are trying to send signal from one device to two displays with different resolutions, using a HDMI Splitter, both displays will only work at the lowest resolution available. For example, if one of your displays has a 4K resolution and the second one has 1080p, the 4K display will only work at a 1080p resolution.
