Multiple Display configuration - using a low cost Gigabit LAN Switch IR Passthru (Requires a second CAT cable)
Description
The Octava HDDSX-RX digital video extender is a scalable HD video distribution solution enabling the design of multi display systems using a standard Gigabit Ethernet LAN. The HDDSX-RX simplifies installation of HD Video systems by using available CAT 5e/6 cable plus a Gigabit Ethernet LAN switch. The HDDSX-TX is equipped with advanced MJPEG video processing and IP protocol to deliver 1080p video up to 300ft. The HDDSX-TX can be used to extend HD video to a single display (point-to-point) by connecting the HDDSX-TX Transmitter to the HDDSX-RX Receiver unit. For multi-display systems connect the Transmitter and multiple Receivers to a Gigabit Ethernet switch and 'mirror' the Source to many Display devices - ideal for Digital Signage Sports Bars House of Worship Education and Hospital applications requiring multiple displays over longer distances using an existing LAN infrastructure. For a Point-to-point installation with IR control of your Source device from the remote Zone add in a second CAT cable between the HDDSX-TX and HDDSX-RX and add in the optional Octava IR cables.
